Description

YOUR TASK

  • Commissioning & testing of components and systems for analytical applications in ultra-high vacuum (UHV)
  • Carrying out functional and performance tests to ensure the specifications are met
  • Documentation of test results
  • Error analysis and independent troubleshooting or initiation of repairs
  • Setting up systems at the customer‘s site and carrying out acceptance measurements
  • Conducting training for customers in-house or on site
  • Contact person for technical questions worldwide

Requirements

  • Natural science studies or comparable study at a university of applied sciences
  • High technical understanding for scientific contexts
  • Proven expertise in various methods of surface analysis, especially electron spectroscopy and/or MBE
  • Knowledge of vacuum technology
  • Knowledge SPM an advantage
  • Extensive knowledge of software and electronics
  • Business fluent English
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Independent, structured and careful way of working
