EVENT: U.S. Rep. John Dingell will discuss the current state of Congress during the free public event at the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
The Michigan Democrat, who represents Monroe County and parts of Wayne and Washtenaw counties, is the longest serving member of the House of Representatives in history. He is a senior member on the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over issues pertaining to commerce, energy, environment, health care, consumer product safety and tele.
