Pennsylvania during Civil War topic of last Research Unplugged Nov. 16
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Research Unplugged, the speaker series that brings Penn State researchers into the community for lively public discussions, wraps up its fall season this Wednesday with a presentation by Bill Blair, director of the Richards Civil War Era Center and professor of American history.
Blair will lead a discussion of "A State Divided: Pennsylvania’s Split Personality During the Civil War."
Research Unplugged programs are held on Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m., at the Penn State Downtown Theatre on Allen Street in downtown State College.
As always, the programs are free and open to the public, with complimentary light refreshments available.
