FACULTY AWARD: Three Princeton faculty elected members of the American Philosophical Society

Three Princeton University faculty were among 35 new members recently elected to the American Philosophical Society (APS), the nation’s oldest scholarly organization. Bonnie Bassler , the Squibb Professor of Molecular Biology, was inducted into the APS’ biological sciences class; Brent Shaw , the Andrew Fleming West Professor of Classics, joined the society’s humanities class; and Christopher Sims , the Harold H.
