The Department of Urban Planning and Design at the GSD is soliciting candidates for a new position in real estate and the built environment at the Adjunct Associate or Adjunct Assistant Professor levels. Adjunct positions normally are half-time or less, and adjunct appointees are required to maintain an outside professional practice concurrent with the appointment.
The successful candidate will teach courses relevant to students from all disciplines and fields at the GSD interested in real estate and the built environment. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct original research and publish scholarship exploring connections between real estate development and successful outcomes for the built environment. S/he may also play an important role in the leadership of real estate concentrations within the Master in Urban Planning, the Master of Architecture in Urban Design, and the Master in Design Studies programs, as well as working with Doctor of Design and Ph.D. students on real estate issues.
