Position Description:
The Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences ( SEAS ) seeks applicants for positions at the level of tenure-track assistant professor in the field of fluid mechanics, with an expected start date of July 1, 2012. The ideal candidates will have high expertise in fluid mechanics and will also have a demonstrated commitment to significant and innovative applications in engineering and applied sciences.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have a PhD or an equivalent terminal degree, or to be able to certify that they will receive the degree within one year of the expected start date.
Additional Qualifications:
We seek candidates who also have the ability to develop a leading research program and enthusiasm for teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses in engineering and applied sciences. Successful candidates will work with SEAS faculty to develop a curriculum for our ABET -accredited engineering program.
