Of particular interest (not in any ranked order) are: (i) computer architecture such as mircoarchitecture design, bio-inspired computing, and DNA computing (ii) mobile computing, (iii) wireless networks, (iv) electronic design automation, and (v) fault-tolerance and information security. Candidates with expertise to address the cross-disciplinary challenges in the broad areas of Energy, Information, and Health are preferred. <BR> <BR>Candidates for Associate and Full Professor must have demosntrated <BR>high-impact, broadly recognized academic contributions as a researcher and scholar, with a commensurate record of success in attracting extramural research support, to meet the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s stringent standards for a tenured appointment.
