Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to education, research and healthcare, invites applications for a tenure-track full Professor position to serve as Chair of the Department of Health Management and Policy for its expanding programs in the School of Public Health. The Saint Louis University School of Public Health is the only accredited school of public health in a Jesuit, Catholic university in the U.S., and is committed to social justice, excellence in education, community engagement, and research that leads to improved health. The successful candidate will be an internationally recognized leader and scholar in the field of health management or health policy, and will have demonstrated leadership skills necessary to lead this highly-ranked department. Applicants must have a doctoral degree with advanced training and leadership experience in Health Management, Health Policy, or a related discipline. S/he should have a productive research record and demonstrated ability to secure external research funding. Primary responsibilities for the position include leading the department, conducting independent, funded research, and teaching graduate and/or undergraduate health management courses, and providing professional and community service.
