DESCRIPTION: Within the Department of Otolaryngology--Head and Neck Surgery and in conjunction with the Neuroscience Graduate Program and the W. M. Keck Foundation Center for Integrative Neuroscience, the successful candidate will join and further enhance an established, collaborative, multidisciplinary hearing research program. The successful candidate will conduct an exciting program of independent, externally funded research in normal and disease-related central auditory physiology using modern approaches to systems neuroscience, including cellular and behavioral approaches; and will contribute to teaching medical students, graduate students, post-doctoral scholars and residents.

REQUIREMENTS: PhD, MD or equivalent degree, and postdoctoral experience demonstrating excellence in their field.

A focus on plasticity is preferred.
