Description of Duties:
This position is to manage and facilitate all aspects of managing the sailing team, including practices, regattas and all travel. This position also reinforces and helps manage all risk and potential injury of any student participants in sailing.

Additional Description of Duties: Overseeing the participation of the Bentley Sailing club at activities and events where they are requested to be present; conducting practices off site (at the BU Boathouse) in a professional and organized manner. The head coach is responsible for attending all practices and competitions (regattas) with students including travel to any regattas out of the region.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree; Previous experience in coaching/instructing sailing at a level comparable with a University club sport program; Previous experience in working with an undergraduate population or University aged individuals. First Aid certification and CPR training is required.
