DESCRIPTION: Within the Department of Medicine and the Diabetes Center, the successful candidate will teach, provide patient care, and conduct research in an area including, but not limited to, the prevention and treatment of diabetes.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical trials experience and capability of developing a nationally-recognized clinical research program; MD or MD/PhD degree or equivalent; board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology; an excellent record of and potential for scholarly activity, publications and funding; and a commitment to medical and graduate education.
