Additional competence in 19th Century Latin American highly desirable; other secondary fields will also be considered.</p> <p>Appointment expected to begin autumn 2012 and be ongoing pursuant to reappointment. Ph.D. required. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish, with a strong commitment to research and teaching.</p> <p>Responsibilities include teaching five classes per academic year, pursuing an active research agenda, and service to the department, college and university.</p> <p>Send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, transcripts, three academic letters of recommendation, three recent sets of student teaching evaluations (where applicable), and a writing sample to Anthony L.
