This is an active and growing program and provides services to the region for the management of end-stage cardiac failure and post-transplantation. The program has particular interest in the following areas: (1) medical management of cardiomyopathies with close collaboration from neuromuscular, metabolic, and genetic sub specialists (2) implantation of mechanical assist devices, and (3) all facets of state-of-the-art transplant care including neonatal and across blood group transplantation. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in general outpatient and inpatient cardiology service located at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center.
