The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle is seeking a full time faculty member at the Associate Professor or Professor level (without tenure due to funding) in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology for an academic appointment and practice in the physician scientist pathway. The Division consists of six gynecologic oncologists and an ABOG approved fellowship. Candidates must possess an M.D. degree and Board eligible or certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
The UW is the top funded public university for research support. The Division has a very busy surgical service including robotics. We are part of a comprehensive cancer center with an extensive array of investigator initiated and Phase I-Phase III trials. Excellent research collaborations are available in basic science, immunology, genetics, epidemiology, and public health. Opportunities for protected research time are available.
