The Puget Sound Blood Center, in affiliation with the University of Washington, Division of Hematology, is seeking applications for 5 positions at the Assistant or Associate Member level. The Blood Center has served the Pacific NW for 60 years in such areas as transfusion and transplantation testing services, hemophilia programs, therapeutic plasma exchange programs, red cell reference and platelet work, providing excellent opportunities for research and clinical trials. The successful applicant will be appointed to the full-time faculty of the University of Washington at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (physician/scientist pathway) or Research track, based on experience. Requirements: Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemistry or biophysics, with strong expertise in hemostasis and thrombosis.
