The position is supported by a VA hard-line salary. Current GRECC research foci include neurodegenerative diseases and endocrinology, but qualified individuals with other areas of research are also encouraged to apply. Major responsibilities for this directorship include: 1) development of initiatives to facilitate the research programs of 12 independent PhD, MD, or MD/PhD GRECC investigators; 2) continuing one’s own vital, funded, aging-related research program, 3) fostering the scientific development of GRECC junior faculty and trainees; and 4) promoting the interests of the GRECC locally and nationally.</p> <p>Interested individuals should send CV and letter of interest to Suzanne Craft, Ph.D., Chair Search Committee, GRECC S-182B, VAPSHCS, 1660 S.
