MD or MD/PhD, Ophthalmology. Completion of residency program in Ophthalmology and a fellowship with focus on glaucoma. Board certified/board eligible in Ophthalmology.
Experience in conducting research, clinical care of patients, and teaching. Candidates for associate professor rank must meet criteria for tenure at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
This position plays an integral role in the department’s existing glaucoma research, education and clinical group. - Develop and establish an independent research program - Pursue and obtain extramural funding for research program - Provide clinical and surgical care of patients - Participate in Department and Medical School committees as assigned - Teach medical students, residents, and fellows - Perform professional, university and community service as appropriate to the faculty rank
