Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute Indiana University School of Medicine Director of Basic Science and Translational Research Associate Professor/Professor of Ophthalmology The Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute and the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a mid-level to senior level outstanding vision scientist to lead our research efforts in basic and translational research. We expect this individual will complement existing research programs or add new areas of research as we expand into a new eye institute dedicated to eye care, research and education. This position would be designated as the Director of Basic and Translational Research at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute. This position will be at the Associate, or full Professor level as a full time tenure track position with competitive salary and fringe benefits depending upon level of experience. Applicants should have an MD/Ph.D. or Ph.D. and be at the Associate Professor or Professor level within their respective institutions. Applicants must have demonstrated excellence within their own research and have experience in leading a research team and have the qualities to lead the development of a larger research enterprise.
