We expect this individual will complement existing research programs or add new areas of research as we expand into a new eye institute dedicated to eye care, research and education. This position would be designated as the Director of Basic and Translational Research at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute. This position will be at the Associate, or full Professor level as a full time tenure track position with competitive salary and fringe benefits depending upon level of experience. Applicants should have an MD/Ph.D. or Ph.D. and be at the Associate Professor or Professor level within their respective institutions. Applicants must have demonstrated excellence within their own research and have experience in leading a research team and have the qualities to lead the development of a larger research enterprise. This is a tenure track position with a competitive salary for the research and administrative responsibilities with fringe benefits.
