The Department of Neurology at the University of Iowa seeks a behavioral neurologist for a faculty position that is part of a new initiative for Study of the Aging Mind and Brain. This appointment to the tenure or clinical track will be made at a level commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applications will be considered from junior, mid-career, or senior level candidates. We seek an individual with leadership qualities, capable of coordinating world-class clinical services to dementia patients in a tertiary health care center, and implementing an innovative program of human-based research on dementia (e.g., clinical trials, clinical research, neuroimaging, human-based pathophysiology).
The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of effective strategies for working with diverse faculty, staff, and students, as well as commitment to diversity in the workplace and academic environment.
