The primary goal of the postdoc is to develop state-of-the-art fresnel zone plates for nanoscale focusing of hard x-rays, as well as related optics. Responsible for the design, implementation, development, metrology, and testing of nanometer scale x-ray optics using nanofabrication techniques; use modeling to support experimental work; and for reporting relevant results in an appropriate form.
Considerable Skill in designing, modeling, and implementing of x-ray focusing optics. Skill in understanding abstract concepts and independently synthesizing results within the current experimental and theoretical framework.
Good Knowledge in the application of x-ray optics for synchrotron radiation instrumentation. Skill in oral and written communication.
