The selected individual must have formal training in health services research, an MPH or comparable degree, experience in resident education and clinical experience in behavioral pediatrics. A background in community pediatrics and engagement of community organizations as well as an interest in clinical informatics technology are desirable. The successful applicant will be expected to conduct health services research related to mental health/behavioral issues with the expectation that the individual will secure extramural grant funding to become an independent physician-investigator.
