The Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies and the History Department at the University of Washington, Seattle, seek to fill a tenure-track assistant professorship in Modern European Jewish History, beginning September 2011, contingent on budgetary approval.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and will contribute to the activities of the Jewish Studies Program of the Jackson School. A PhD or equivalent is required by date of appointment. This position is a full-time, nine-month appointment. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.
