The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, and Indiana University School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time academic position at the Associate/Full Professor level to lead and further develop and program in the area of developmental biology. Candidates can be a PhD, MD or MD/PhD, must have a strong research background and current independent funding. Successful candidates will be expected to establish a robust externally funded research program. Laboratory space is in the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research, which has ongoing programs in developmental hematology, stem cell biology, diabetes, pulmonary inflammation and allergic diseases, cardiac developmental biology, pediatric hematology/oncology, and translational medicine. The position comes with a generous start-up package, outstanding laboratory space and protected time for research-related activities.
