Description: POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Biomaterials Science
and Engineering Laboratory, to design, develop,
and execute chemical, biochemical, genetic,
cellular, and associated bioassays, as well as
quantitative image analysis to evaluate the
medicinal or therapeutic potential of natural
products. Will work closely within a small research
group as well as with intra institutional experts and
a renowned international research institution to
advance the research program. Initial focus will be
on industrial phytochemicals, particularly
polyphenols.
This position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a rapidly developing field. Realization of the potential of this important field will depend entirely on the individual’s capability and drive.
Experience: REQUIREMENTS - Ph.D. in biology, physical
science, or engineering. A strong background in
basic science and the ability to learn, explore and
apply novel techniques and concepts are essential.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
necessary.
