ASSISTANT PROFESSOR -- The Boise, Idaho VA Medical Center, an affiliated medical center of the University of Washington School of Medicine, seeks a Board Certified Internist to work as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Boise Track, provide patient care, and teach residents and medical students. Candidates must be a citizen of the United States, communicate effectively in English, have a degree of doctor of medicine, have current full unrestricted licensure to practice medicine in the United States or District of Columbia, have demonstrated administrative experience, strong academic credentials, and excellent interpersonal and clinical skills. Research expertise, active research or research interest are desirable. The successful candidate will be appointed to the full-time regular faculty at the University of Washington at the rank of Assistant Professor on the clinician-teacher pathway, without tenure due to funding.
