Duties include field and archival research . Research Associates have the potential to work with Harvard Business School faculty on a variety of research projects and may develop intellectual property for HBS in many ways. Research products are most often journal articles, working papers, HBS cases and teaching notes, and books. Duties include: writing and editing; conducting on-site field research at local, regional, and international companies; gathering/analyzing data; performing sophisticated research utilizing world-class library; developing supplemental electronic courseware/case exhibits. NOTE: This is a full-time term appointment, beginning immediately through June 30, 2011, with a strong potential for reappointment. Basic Qualifications: PhD (ABD will be considered) with proven strength in research, writing, analytical and conceptual skills and a fluency in German required. The ability to work well independently with minimal supervision is essential. Additional Qualifications: Background in hstory with experience in archival research strongly preferred.
