Demonstrated research and teaching experience required. We seek candidates with active programs of research in areas consistent with national public health nursing or health care priorities. Experience in an academic health science center environment strongly preferred. For appointments at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, credentials for tenured faculty position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
A full range of research, teaching, and service commensurate with the tenure-track position is required. A fundable research program is expected. Responsibilities include teaching at a baccalaureate, master’s or doctoral levels of nursing, as well as involvement in continuing education activities; graduate student advising and research mentoring of PhD students; and serving on school and university committees, commensurate with appointment. Qualified candidates will be regional or national leaders in their area of expertise.
