The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Washington is recruiting a highly qualified individual for full-time position as a trauma-focused neurosurgeon at the rank of Assistant Professor. The applicant will be expected to build a clinical practice specializing in pituitary lesions, neurofibromatosis, and skull-based neurosurgery. Additional duties include teaching of residents, fellows and medical students. A strong commitment to academic pursuits and clinical or basic research is required. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, completed a neurological surgery residency program as well as a neurological surgery fellowship and be eligible for a Washington State license.
